MOVING partners meet virtually for the first time for the Kick-off Meeting

MOVING aims to create the necessary capacities at the local and institutional level to co-design the policy framework that allows the development of value chains that guarantee the sustainability and resilience of mountain areas. It will be done in a bottom-up participatory process with value chain actors, regional and European stakeholders and policy-makers.

To this end, it has received funding of 6 million euros from the European Commission's framework program for research and development, Horizon 2020, for the next 4 years (2020-2024).

Between 14-16 September 2020, around 70 experts from 23 organisations have met virtually to define the first actions that will make this project a reality.
During the kick-off meeting, organisation delegates held several plenary sessions, parallel meetings and training sessions, allowing the Consortium to meet each other and establish the best working methods for the upcoming four years in which MOVING will be running.
