The results of the project after four years of work come in a very timely moment, as the new EU Priorities 2024-2029 for mountain areas begin to take shape.

As the MOVING project comes to an end, the project coordinator shared some reflections on the journey and what lies ahead.

The MOVING project exemplifies the crucial contribution of proximity economy to mountain resilience by the means of mountain value chains.

From April 29th to May 3rd, 2024, the picturesque Valposchiavo in Switzerland hosted this event dedicated to exploring Policies and Strategic Options for Mountains.

The project’s partner AREPO, together with Euromontana, participated in this virtual meeting to present and discuss with officials from DG Agri and stakeholders the results of the analysis on the implementation of the EU Optional Quality Term (OQT) “mountain product”.
